Quite simply, I haven't drawn in nearly 9 years and really am giving it a go! I miss art, full-stop!
To me art is more than just about creating something; it's seeing the vision and it is the transition of that to the application upon a material, using the creative elements of the mind. This is what makes artists different to mathematicians, lawyers or astronaughts. The mind wonders more than those examples; in school you were the one drawing in the book you should be writing in, or on the table. You felt expressive in art or design classes, anything involving a creative aspect.
I have a lot to learn, but I am very open-minded to art and see more than just a well-finished or well-thought-out piece of work.
'The beauty of music is the use of Active-Silence; The beauty of art is the use of Active-Space'... Without either element, the finished product is never complete.
